One reason may be due to your past. This is a huge reason why you may you may be struggling in your weight loss journey. Within your past may be things that are eating away at you. Perhaps this has something to do with your parents. Perhaps they had addiction or mental health issues. In this case, perhaps you needed to grow up and take care of yourself and your family as a child. This can cause instability and control issues. Pending on the severity of your issues a coach or mental health professional can help you work through this so that you can get on with losing weight easily.
As you have grown, you have put your heart and soul into raising your family. You have chosen to take care of children, a spouse and aging parents. You have always put yourself on the back burner. You never take the time to keep yourself healthy. You are continually putting yourself last. This will back fire on you. Someday you may no longer be the caregiver whom you pride yourself to be. Take time for yourself.
Injuries are a part of life, unfortunately. At some point in your weight loss story, a paragraph or a chapter will be on an injury that you have sustained. Injuries can be very disheartening especially if you in the exercise \ training mode. “It’s not fair!” Don’t think like that. Unless you are in a full body cast, there are exercises you can do. Work on the bodies parts that aren’t injured. Be excited about targeting different areas.
